CROCODILE DUNDEE IN LOS ANGELES (PG) -- Younger and younger each year... a 13PG. Yes worries, mate. It's happening. PG is now showing the nearly bare bottoms of male transvestites going into a gay bar with another transvestite as the door attendant [Rom 1:16 - 32, Deut. 22:5]. Younger and younger every year, yup. Gotta get those kids indoctrinated to homosexuality earlier and earlier. Make 'em think it's nothing but funny and acceptable and maybe even doable. Even the National Education Association either has or had a resolution that spoke of getting to the kids before parents and the church regarding homosexuality ... er... rather "alternate lifestyles." And what better way to shape and lead acceptance of homosexuality in a child than by indoctrinating him/her to it with images and thoughts of it before s/he even knows what sexuality truly is? When s/he is at that point of starting to wonder what all the hoopla is about sexuality? Even if your discussion with your kids explains that homosexuality is a sin, the idea has been planted by the larger-than-life, in-your-face luster and authority of the big screen, and you have to compete with that. Isn't the way many cultural indoctrinations are done the planting an idea and letting it fester with a little reminding encouragement every now and again along the way? Just a little tweak at a time? Relentlessly? Younger and younger each year? Yes worries, mate. Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles also has a 9 year old child using the three/four letter word vocabulary. I can almost hear all the voices saying (quoting from our analysis of Josie and the Pussycats): "'Yeah, well I hear it and more every day at school." Yeah, well that does not excuse the sin of speaking it." [Col. 3:8] Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles earned a CAP final score equivalent to middle-of-the-road PG-13 movies of the random sampling of movies in the CAP comparative baseline database. It even "justified" having anatomical swimwear in it by having the 9 year old boy saying the girls wearing the scant swimwear were from the Baywatch TV show. Still taking tourists on nature walks in the outback around Walkabout Creek, Mick (Paul Hogan) does not knock out a purse snatcher with a can of food from 20 yards away this time. His son, Mickey (Serge Cockburn) knocks out a rat in the school classroom with an eraser. Like father, like son. Mick does hypnotize more animals, though. Donk is quite a bit more intelligent. Walter is not there (John Meillon died in 1989). Sue Charleton (Linda Kozlowski and Mrs. Paul Hogan) is a little bit heavier and a little less agressive. Some "new" faces, new to the Crocodile Dundee triplet anyway, include George Hamilton who discusses with Mick the benefits of coffee enemas and Mike Tyson who gives Mick and Mickey a free lesson in meditation -- which locks up Mick's knees. In an effort to keep the ship (News Day newspaper) afloat while a replacement for a star reporter is found, Sue relocates to the Los Angeles office so she, at daddy's bequest, can take over where the dead reporter left off. But she and Mick do not "leave off" the cohabitation they have been exercising in Australia. Though Paul and Linda are actually married in real life, Mick and Sue are cohabitating [Hebr. 13:4; 1 Cor. 7:1-2] and apparently have been for longer than nine years since they have a nine year old son. I guess that makes them a common law couple. Mickey's last name is uncertain -- Dundee or Charleton. However, Mickey is an opportunity to bring Mick's new best friend, Jacko (Alec Wilson) into the California fray. Jacko, intellectual competitor of Dong of the first Crododile Dndee, is brought to Beverly Hills to help watch over Mickey as Mick and Sue dare to daunt the dastardly deeds of the desperados. But Jacko becomes more of a force to be reckoned with by the foes than Sue. Jacko also takes the place of the NYC taxi driver as Mick's drinkin' buddy in LA. Mick, thinking he is worldly after his stint in New York ten years ago, acts with much bravado in LA and boasts of himself as street wise. He feels street wise enough to analyze a plot of a "B" flick movie producer fronting for art smuggling. The head of the movie company is suspected of being the cause of the death of the reporter Sue is replacing ... the reporter was getting close to a big story. As a movie set extra - a construction worker - Mick works under cover to uncover the plot to smuggle priceless art. though his role is a construction worker, Mick becomes a chimp trainer since he "has a way with the chimp." Hey! Why not! The salary is twice that of an extra. If needed to focus or fortify, applicable text is underlined or bracketed [ ]. [NOTE: Because of the gravity of this matter on the target age group I offer the whole accounting thing this time. This is God's word about homosexuality] Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve [eternal] death [if not forgiven], they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. [NOTE: Paraphrasing, God goes on to say that they who practice such evil judge arrogantly those who would tell them of His Word: that by their judgment -- the calling of goodness evil (Isa. 5:20) -- their Judgment is assured.] *******Food for Thought******* As always, it is best to refer to the Findings/Scoring section -- the heart of the CAP analysis model -- for the most complete assessment possible of this movie.
