The heaviest loss in Willow was in Wanton Violence/Crime (W) due to violence, including frequent occurence of visual evidence of weapons penetrating human bodies, a threat to cook a human, animal aggression (e.g., eating humans), and threats to kill/harm. Impunity/Hate (I) lost surprisingly few points.⁽¹⁾ Sex/Homosexuality (S) lost a number of points due to transvestism, partial nudity, and tease of nudity. Offense to God (O)⁽²⁾ lost a significant portion of its starting 100 points due to sorcery, witchcraft, praising bones, and grotesque distortion and transformation of humans by unholy powers. Drugs/Alcohol (D) and Murder/Suicide (M)⁽³⁾ lost surprisingly few points.

In accordance with the comparative baseline data, Willow was equivalent to PG-13-rated material in Wanton Violence/Crime. It was equivalent to PG material in Offense to God. All other Investigation Areas earned scores equivalent to G-rated material. Thus, Willow was equivalent to the comparative baseline data corresponding to 17% PG-13 material, 17% PG material, and 66% G-rated material.

Please remember we believe that if even one of the six Investigation Area scores for a movie is equivalent to the CAP comparative baseline databse scoring range for R, PG-13, or PG material, the entire movie should be regarded as so rated. For example, if only Wanton Violence/Crime earns a score equivalent to R but all other Investigation Areas earn a score equivalent to G, THERE IS R-RATED MATERIAL IN THE MOVIE AND YOUR KIDS WILL SEE IT AND HEAR IT IF THEY WATCH THE MOVIE!
